Soy textured protein

Textured soy protein (TVP) obtained from defatted soy meal (HiPro) through wet extrusion process that changes the molecular structure giving it a texture very similar to the fibrous flesh. Its excellent properties make it ideal for mixing with beef, pork and poultry meat in wide variety of applications such as medallions, sausage, meatballs, empanadas, tacos, salsas and stuffed pasta. Because of its low fat content and high protein percentage adds nutritional value to foodstuffs.
